Last February, Christina (my girlfriend) and I packed up the dogs and headed for a yurt State Forest State Park. We slipped around on an uneven snow packed roads before we arrived at the yurt as I put the car into park we felt the ground sink. In the “driveway” of our yurt my car sank 1 foot into the snow. After 3 hours of digging, rocking, spinning tires, and engine revving we broke free. With the remaining hours of daylight Christina and I slipped around on muddy roads, fell through ice, chopped firewood and enjoyed a stunning sunset. The rest of the night was spent feeding the fire sipping on wine and waiting for the stars to come out.
